Frontline Daily Devotion - Day 14 - Here We Go Again
JOSHUA 24:15 -- "Choose you this day whom you will serve."
God is the eternal I Am. His Word is settled forever in heaven. Every Word has relevance to my life today. We can look at this Scripture and we can pass over it, thinking it was an historical event in the life of Joshua and in the history of Israel. But these Words apply to each Christian today and every day from now on. You must choose TODAY who you are going to serve TODAY! There is a day of decision, but we learn quickly that living for God can only be accomplished on a daily basis. As a matter of fact, your life today is a reflection of who you were serving yesterday. As I confront each new day, I will be given opportunities to decide over and over again. It is not a thing you will choose to serve, but a WHO! You are constantly having to decide each moment of each hour, of each day between Jesus or the Adversary? Jesus or your boss? Jesus or yourself? Whomever you choose, that is the one you will serve. The burden of Jesus is easy and light. All others come with a cost. Who are you serving today?
