MARK 7:24 -- "..Yet He could not be hid."

If I am truly a child of God, whose sins have been washed away, and who has been filled with the Holy Spirit of God, could I hide that fact from others? The question is not why I would, but if I could? Could I hide the Jesus in my life from you? This Scripture tells us that Jesus could not be hid. That's such good news. There is just something about Him that causes people to become attractive to others. I used to be sad and depressed. But when I found Jesus, He saved me and I became full of joy and enthusiasm. Jesus cannot be hid. I used to be angry and aggressive. But when I found Jesus, I became calm and at peace with my fellow man. Jesus can not be hid! I used to have no hope and always saw the worst in each situation. But when I found Jesus, I know that each day is a new day, full of possibilities and blessing. I say it again, Jesus cannot be hid! You might try to hide Him, but if you have truly found Him, then those that know you best will see His reality. "By your fruit, they shall know you." Only someone, who has not found Jesus, could actually hide Him. But Jesus can not be hid. He is visible in my peace, in my joy, in my hope, and in the love of God shed abroad in my heart. He is visible in my desire to share Him with you, to talk about his goodness, to take you to Him, so that you also might meet Him. He is visible in my concern for others, to see them saved. The truth is that I can not hide Jesus. I am not sure that you could intentionally hide Jesus, just as I am sure that many have unintentionally hid Him. They tried to hide Him when they decided who should or should not come to Him. The disciples wanted to hide Him from the little children and from the Syro-Phonecian woman, but He could not be hid. Jesus is out there for all to see. "If the Gospel is hid, it is hid to those that are perishing." But those that perish will not be able to accuse God and say that the Lord hid from them. No, Jesus can not be hid! In the day you seek me, in that day shall you find me. Jesus can not be hid!
