La Paloma Ministries is an active arm of Frontline Ministries. La Paloma is Spanish
for "The Dove." Of course the Dove is symbolic for the Holy Spirit. For any ministry to
be successful, it must be anointed and powered by the Spirit of God.
This ministry has the mission of bringing the Gospel to the Latino people of Middle
Tennessee. There are many opinions about imigration in this country. But one thing
is clear. There are many souls which have not heard the full Gospel of Jesus Christ.
It is God's express will that all people get the chance to hear this, and decide "Yes" or
"No" to Jesus.
The ministry is accomplished through three methods. First, preaching at local Latino
church services. Second, home Bible studies. Finally, conducting a domestic violence
prevention class for those offenders who are court ordered to attend. The third method
also serves the purpose of inviting students to church, and obtaining home Bible studies.
It is exciting to see people coming out of tradition and developing personal relationships
with Jesus.
My name is Bro. Maurice Murphy, founder and minister for La Paloma
Ministries. My family and I live in Dickson Tennessee, a small town west of
Nashville. For years I have been burdened to bring the Gospel to the local
Latino people. By teaming up with local Hispanic pastors, Jesus is being
preached regularly. God has blessed us with mighty movements of his Spirit.
People are being saved, healed, and delivered from the kingdom of Satan.
