WHAT WE DID:
We opened the O.C. ("Overcoming Challenges") Men's Transition Center to restore men through the power of God, shared accountability, renewed purpose and personal leadership.
HOW WE DID IT:
Through God's sovereign provision, abundant favor and the hard work of residents and staff, we completely renovated our residential facility. It is now a great place to live and grow spiritually and to become fully productive.
WHY WE DID IT:
There is a continuing need for high-quality, long-term residential transition facilities in our community. Our goal is to meet the needs of disenfranchised men, while glorifying God in all we say and do. By partnering with other service providers, we provide a path back to wholeness for our transition center guests.

The O.C Men's Transition Center is a long-term "Second Step/Level II" residential transitional program for men 18 years of age and older who are homeless and have a history of life controlling issues. All residents must be willing to commit to no less then a year to the program. Referrals may come from families, shelters, law enforcement agencies, substance abuse clinics, community agencies or self referral. Each prospective resident must complete an application and meet specific criteria. Resident's intake and clinical assessments will be done by the director or a clinical professional.
Each prospective resident must be free from alcohol or drug use for at least 30 days and must pass a drug screen administered by the O.C. staff. If accepted into the program, new residents will undergo a random weekly or monthly drug screen. All prospective residents will be screened and approved by the director and then they must be interviewed by all other residents in a group setting before being admitted into the O.C. Program. If admission is not approved the prospective resident will be referred to another agency for assistance.
