"But seek ye first (pursue after) the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these "THINGS" will be added unto you."
1. WHAT WE TRY TO GET FROM THE WORLD:
· FAME-- everyone gets his or her 15 minutes.
q Reputation; try to be bigger than life
q Trapped in a lie; being someone you are not
q Can't handle your ordinary life
· MONEY ($$) & WEALTH -- will solve all my problems
q Live the good life
q I'll be satisfied
· ACCEPTANCE -- Happiness
q Happiness
q Affirmation
q Someone to love the real me
2. WHAT THE WORLD GIVES US:
· Drugs & Booze
· Debt
· Destruction
· Failed relationships
· Bondage & sin
· Misery
3. WHAT GOD HAS ALREADY GIVEN US:
· LIFE-- the odds against you were billions to ONE!
q Fearfully and wonderfully made
q God knows you intimately, He knit you together
· ADOPTION --unconditional love
q A family to belong to
q Acceptance through the blood of Jesus
· PURPOSE -- a meaningful life
q Learn of me; I am lowly & meek
q Goodness & mercy shall follow you
q God has great plans for you!!
4. WHAT I NEED TO DO: SEEK HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART
· Today is the day
· Seek Him while He may be found
· Repent and be converted
· HE WILL GIVE YOU THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART!!
